a lil poem about finding love

By Tom Murphy
Finding love is like hunting treasure without a map
Ive been told just hunt for pleasure and that love is just a trap
But at the same time this advice was spoken
By someone who was recently heart broken
Ive never had somebody to love and love me back
And so sometimes I’m scared that I’m straying from the pack
Feeling lonely shitty feelings that start to consume
Maybe I’m wierd, possibly a late bloom?
Which beats up my mental until I’m fed up
And finally decide to hold my head up
Because I know that patience brings the right thing at the right time
So for now I’ll just give my love to rhyme.
