2020 mindshare Exhibition
We are looking for expressions of interest for artists to be showcased in mindshare's Mental Health Week art exhibition.
The mindshare Group Exhibition is an annual collaboration between the Mental Health Coalition of SA, Life Without Barriers and Neami National.
Life Without Barriers and Neami National offer high-quality visual art programs for people with lived experience of mental illness, creating pathways for recovery and connection through creativity.
Throughout Mental Health Awareness Month—the month of October—the mindshare Group Exhibition showcases a selection of works from within these programs.
In 2020, the mindshare Group Exhibition will extend across all three Adelaide City Libraries: Rundle Mall, Hutt Street, and North Adelaide.
Expressions of Interest
Are you a South Australian artist with lived experience of mental illness?
We historically work alongside creatives living with complex mental health challenges who’ve identified expressive arts as an important tool in their recovery journey. If this is something you identify with, we strongly encourage you to get in touch.
Please email our Online Editor Anna at email@example.com introducing yourself and your practice.
If you have a creative CV and portfolio, we'd love to see it. Otherwise simply tell us about you, why you want to get involved, and share some of your work for the mindshare Advisory Group to check out.
We will be choosing three artists to feature across the three libraries.
You will need a minimum of 6 art pieces to display in October if you wish to be featured—with some flexibility depending on the size/scale of the artworks offered—and we'll be looking to produce an artist statement about you to accompany them.
We look forward to hearing from you!
