Grants of up to $2000 are now available to support promotional activities during Borderline Personality Disorder Awareness Week! BPD Week presents a powerful opportunity to demystify a complex mental health challenge and raise awareness during Mental Health Month.
Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD) is a common and serious mental illness affecting between one and four percent of the population. BPD Awareness Week was established in 2014 to provide a time for advocacy, acknowledgement and recognition that reduces prejudice against people with BPD.
Thanks to the Borderline Personality Disorder Collaborative (BPD Co), the MHCSA is once again offering their grants program of between $500 and $2000 to support community activities during BPD Awareness Week (October 1-7). This could be an BPD specific event, workshop, performance, art exhibition, speed dating, bike ride, or afternoon tea… it’s up to you!
Applications are due 5pm Friday, 22 July 2022.
