The 2022 mindshare Awards have officially opened! Huzzuh!
The mindshare Awards are a poetry and creative writing competition open to South Australians with lived experience of mental health challenges.
Supported by the Mental Health Coalition of South Australia, Writers SA and Access2Arts, the awards offer an opportunity for writers to share their stories, showcase their skills, discover new creative communities, and connect with industry professionals… and it’s FREE to enter!

There are four categories; Unpublished Emerging Poets, Unpublished Emerging Writers, Published Established Poets, and Published Established Writers.  While entered works do not need to be about an entrant’s lived experience of mental health challenges, poetry and creative writing generated from personal experience are encouraged.

The shortlisted entrants for each category will receive 1 years free membership to Writers SA (valued at $75). Memberships provide advice, information and support in writing activities, career pathways and opportunities, access to a community of writers, AND opportunities to meet industry professionals. Shortlisted entrants will also have their work published on location and online as part of the MHCSA’s Mental Health Month mindshare Exhibition in October.
The winners of each category will receive (as well as shortlisted prizes); a $100 gift card for any Writers SA resources or services and a free 20-minute consultation with the Writers SA Director. They will also receive a mindshare Awards plaque, and the opportunity to be profiled and interviewed on the Access2Arts website.

For more information and to view our guidelines head to the mindshare awards page.

Entries close Monday 8th August at 5pm!

Winners will be announced at the 10th Anniversary Festival Of Now, on the 14th of October 2022.  Save the date, and follow us on Instagram,  or Facebookfor updates!
