10th Anniversary Festival of Now poster competition opens!
Applications are now open for the Festival of Now poster competition!
Run in partnership with the Mental Health Coalition of South Australia, Festival of Now is an annual celebration of mental health, creativity, inclusiveness and community connection, and it’s celebrating its 10th Anniversary this October!!
This year’s theme is “A Celebration of our Growing Community”
Community support is essential in both people’s recovery and continued well-being. Gradually, there has been a growing global awareness of how friendships and social connection, mutual aid, and communal care can be just as, if not more important than individualized support options. The Festival of Now has always been referred to as a celebration of mental health, creativity and inclusiveness that challenges stigma and promotes community connection, and we would love to share our communities expressions of connectedness.
The winning design will be used to create the FoN poster, program and all associated press, plus receive a $150 voucher and arts hamper to be presented at Festival of Now on the 14th Oct 2022!
If you have living/lived experience of mental health challenges, please submit your digital image to mindshare@mhcsa.org.au by 5pm, Monday 11th July.
The image doesn’t have to include any details – we’re looking for artwork that our graphic designer can re-work into a poster format.
We accept entries of all kinds, but colourful pieces that speak to the theme are always popular.
